We know it's early, but DeeDee got this ultrasound when she was just over 8 weeks, and Andy couldn't help but upload it here.

Our favorite part is that it actually says BABY over the blob, just in case we weren't sure. DeeDee reports that the tiny white speck closest to the center of the blob is the baby's heart. She got to see it beating (very fast!) on the ultrasound.

We're thrilled about our little zygote! We're very excited that Brett will get to be a big brother. We're pretty sure he isn't quite fully aware of what all this means yet, but he has been including "the baby in Mommy's tummy" in his prayers every night at bedtime.
